Our Origins
After founding and leading Camden Partners, a private equity firm focused on education, healthcare and business services, David Warnock formed the Green Street Impact Partners team with individuals who had intersected and worked together for many years. This firm is new, but the team is not.
The inspiration behind our name is Green Street Academy co-founded by David Warnock. The school is a “learn to work” academy operating in a vulnerable part of Baltimore, bridging education and sustainable employment, and boasting the best graduation rate in the city.
As a team, we admire the community focus of this school, seek to emulate its positive impact on students and families in the investments we make, and chose it as the inspiration for our name.
